He should stick to stunt driving.

Add me to the 5,999,999 thousand person long list of people who didn't know anything about Ken Block outside of the Gymkahana vids.

I didn't even know he existed until those videos came up

+1.

I didn't know he co-founded DC until this thread.

Ya'll aren't into the type of sports or personality DC shoes markets to either.

I guess I can concede my point however, and weep at the loss of humanity.

I don't know why I would know (or care) who founded any shoe company, regardless of whether or not I like their style or personality.

BTW, this is why people thing your similar to MrH. You assume that just because you know something that everyone else does and then argue about it to pointless extents. At least you're willing to admit defeat, in this case anyway.

Also, the occasional mention of banging chicks doesn't help either.

Until this thread, I didn't know who this guy was and never heard of DC Shoes.

As to "skipping to the front of the line", I see that more and more in all sorts of businesses.

Same here.  At first I assumed Peter Brock and then I remembered he was dead :(.

I only became aware of Ken Block when James May rode shotgun with him on Top Gear.  I've never heard of DC shoes, either.  I assume it's another brand devoted exclusively to athletic shoes?  If so, that's probably why I've never heard of them.  Mention Florsheim, Johnston and Murphy, Alden and Allen Edmonds and I'll know what you're on about.  Those are the shoes we adults wear, anyway!  ;)

I heard the story of how Block got into rallying one time. I think it was a little segment during the X Games last summer.
