I was checking out the hi res galleries at Autoblog of new cars at Geneva and I did not know that Toyota was coming out with a freshened 2011 Rav4. At first, I was excited, but just when you think Toyota cannot find a way to make a car more boring, they give us this.

It will probably sell well.

That's a very mild update of a RAV4 variant already sold in some parts of the world:

Ya, it seems a shame to leave the US out of enjoying this version of the vehicle.

Now we're getting it! I am so excited! :ohyeah:

That's just AutoBlog's speculation, and I don't think they realize a similar vehicle has been on sale for years. But maybe.

Speculation based in a certain degree of common sense. Would it not be more cost efficient to build the same car universally?

In many cases yes, but that is not a given. The Camry sold like 100 copies a year in Europe.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

If the two models have been coexisting for years, why change that now?

A V6 with hubcaps?

Probably winter tires and winter rims. It wouldn't surprise me though if the V6 Camry came with plastic hubcaps as standard in Europe. The early Lexus IS and GS and LS400 sold in Germany had them as standard too - the same ones found on this Camry, but with a Lexus badge on it.

The more you know...

Also, Ravalon4 sounds like the prequel series to Babylon 5.

The RAV4 in the US is a bit bigger IIRC.  Maybe that has something to do with it.

Yeah, but the Vanguard is the same as the car as this facelifted SWB Rav4.
