Someone recreated the classic AC/Shelby Cobra into a modern package with modern technology and luxury. I wouldn't hesitate to think it probably costs upwards of $200,000 to buy one, but damn. Just damn.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

It's okay.  The car itself sounds awesome, but I really don't like the front end on it.  It looks like the rear 3/4 of a Cobra and the front 1/4 of a Morgan Aero 8.  Also, part of me wonders why everything needs to be over 800 hp these days.  Especially in a 2400 lbs car.  Personally, I would rather see a 3400 lbs car with 450 hp.

Billet door hinges? Reaching there a bit on the details.

That's, uh, nice, I guess.

How about 2000 lbs, and 200 bhp?

2400 lbs is pretty light, but I would prefer the power in the 400 - 450 range.  That would be much more manageable.

Yeah, 450 hp is plenty. And even with that, you will probably never use all 450 horses anyway unless you are bombing down some runway or the autobahn.

I had a hard time finding enough room to use the 426 hp in the 3900 lbs Camaro SS I drove.  I could only imagine what it would be like in a car that weighs 2400 lbs.

Come one.

I have 200bhp in a 3200 pound car and it moves like hell.

Just give me a Shelby replica with an untouched Mustang engine.  Factory Five!

At that weight, 200-250 bhp is more than enough for anything you are going to do safely day to day. Lightweight cars handle better. That's how I roll.

I saw them both at the local Auto show.  They had a tribute to Shelby with about 50 of the cars he was involved with.

Yes, but 400-450 hp would be like being strapped to a rocket and would be one hell of a thrill ride.  It would also be a monster at the track (drags).  800+hp would send me ricocheting off of anything hard in a matter of a couple seconds.

S204STi

I really like this.  Imagine a kit car built to the highest spec, and this would blow it out of the water.

the Teuton

No one has reviewed it, but here's what I have gathered:

0-60 in about 2.6 seconds

Price: some estimates are hovering around $600,000.

It's being limited to 100 units.

And it was debuted at Pebble Beach last August.

Right, but I don't want to be strapped to a rocket.

If I'm going to die doing something dumb in a car, it's gonna be in a curve, and 200 bhp in a 2000 lb car is plenty to do that with.

For fucks sake, I can't do this enough times, so this will have to suffice.

You think $600k is too much for an official unofficial AC Cobra?
