He had his court date earlier this week: $22 - no points - two years probation, infractions during which would elicit more that a stiff talking to.

Pretty good deal I thought.

Pretty good deal I thought.

That sounds like a good deal.  The only thing that's unclear is how the probation would affect the penalty for minor infractions.  All in all, it seems that he made out pretty well.
