The number of post views has increased (slowly), but no guesses at all.

Most of the clues I thought of would give this away instantly...... so, I will tell you that this car had a 3 litre V6 engine, and it cost substantially more than a Jaguar E Type when new. This is the final model made, before production ceased in 1973/4.

Yes, sir...... a Mark 3 Gilbern Invader.

The give away clue would have been that the car was made in Wales.
