An Evo and an STI...that's just kinda cool. I imagine even with the equipment in them, they're both still blisteringly fast.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

This is a big deal?  They're fast response cars.  I thought you guys had Corvettes and Camaros?

More Camaros and Mustangs versus Corvettes. Even so, the CVPI is pretty darned fast.

The CVPI is barely, if at all, faster than the average economy car or 4-cylinder, midsize family sedan these days.

That is not even remotely true.

The CVPI is relatively slow, it just sounds fast because it has a large V8 that makes a lot of noise under hard acceleration. It has an 8.75 second 0-60 time. Betty G. Soccer Mom in a V6 Camry can outrun a Crown Vic these days, and it's about a wash in a 4cylinder. Even the Charger cop cars  (V6, since that's the most common) are in the mid 8 second time window. The average cop car doesn't need to accelerate all that fast though, considering they won't need the extra second or two in acceleration the vast majority of the time. That's why they have those Camaros, Mustangs, etc. for the times they do need pure speed.

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

Swift can outrun a Crown Vic. Ask me how I know.
