This may offend or make some of the members uncomfortable, but when you shop for jeans, what style do you gravitate towards?

Cookie Monster

I have no idea. I think loose fit.

I let my girlfriend buy them. I don't see anything from this list I can pick. Truth be told I'm not a jeans fan.

How did you find a picture of me and my girlfriend?

I usually get a Straight Leg or Boot Cut.  I get a fitted fit, mind you not tight because that shit just looks retarded.  And a baggy fit also looks stupid and like you shat yourself.

BimmerM3

I think the jeans I wear most often are American Eagle Low Rise Boot Cuts.

These are what my mom buys me.  But sometimes I buy strait cut.  I really have no preference between the two.

I like loose/baggy/carpenter. Jean buying is way too complicated for me!!

I'm pretty sure it's 2o6. I believe he's mentioned it before.

Raza

Straight leg seems about right.  Slimmer legs, without being super tight.  Go tighter or looser than that and you look silly.

I don't like baggy clothing, nor do I like skin tight.   I checked slim, which to me means some play in the butt and thighs, but no baggy or loose look.

ChrisV

Boot cut is usually about the right fit. Loose enough in the leg to fit well without bieng baggy, but not tight, binding, and hipster. Baggy is hard to work in, so is too tight.

That's about perfect.

giant_mtb

I prefer slim styles because I'm really skinny, so anything "normal" looks baggy on me.  Most of my jeans are normal (straight, boot cut, loose fit, etc.), but I look best in a slimmer jean.  But definitely not skin-tight.  Nasty.  Slim-fits fit me about perfectly.

sportyaccordy

I look best in slim cut jeans... I am a slim dude I guess

I have it down to knowing the measurements of what would fit best. I am learning to sew and tailor so I am going to fix some once dead jeans.

I must confess; I do own a pair of black skinny jeans. Not ridiculously so, but I probably wouldn't wear them if I was going out for a meal, and fitting my phone and wallet in the pockets is a bit of a struggle.

TBR

Straight leg I think. Generally with the waist an inch or two too big, otherwise they tend to be too tight around my hips.

Speed_Racer

Slim boot. I've found that Hollister has the best fit for my body shape - skinny with long legs. Plus they actually make it in my size (30x32), as opposed to cheaper places like Old Navy.

rohan

I have 2 requirments for buying jeans- more than enough room for my ever lower hanging sac and not too tight of a seam up my crack.  Meet those two requirements and I'm buying.   And go ahead and laugh young guys- when you turn 40 you'll see.....you'll see.

I have fun finding jeans in my size. I usually go with 32x34 but they can be hard to find. Sometimes I'll give in and just get 33x34, but then I really need a belt.

Me too. 34x34 are what I've got to look for and they never have them.

I always buy 34x34 since I'm more like a 30x34 but can't find any of those.

Yeah, you will have absolutely no luck with a 30x34. I'm actually a 30 or 31 waist but 32 is fine so I just go with it.

I'm a 30x32, which is usually pretty easy to find, once I get past the 36x30s.
