DUMMKOPF, DU MUST OBEY ZE RULES AND PAHK IN ZE LINES, IST NOT HARD JA?

That triple fail combo one is totally understandable. Some dumbass does a sloppy job of parking, and everybody has to offset their parking so that they keep some buffer zone in between them and the adjacent cars. So it's more like a single fail, with everybody else adapting the best they can.

That's not really that bad.  The car isn't protruding into another parking space and it's not obstructing access through the car park.  I've seen far worse.  You're going to have to do better that that!

This doesn't really count, as he's not blocking a spot.  Car is pulled off, almost up to the tree.  Probably just wants more of a buffer so he doesn't get door dings from careless people.

At school I have one car next to me and the other side is empty because of a sidewalk. So I usually park right on that line, if not over it to protect my car. Except the girl next to me is retarded and will sometimes park over the line on my side. I'm trying to stay away from her and she just follows me!

This is the same chick who backed into a car and drove off with 5 people watching her.

Maybe they're just trying to avoid getting door dings?  Then again, the owner doesn't seem to concerned about his missing wheel trim.

I would be rather surprised if the driver was a he. Badly-parked Yaris missing a hubcap doesn't scream 'guy.'

Indeed.  I hadn't noticed them!  I think this type of parking is typical of people that park far away from the doors of the stores.  I just about always park far away and try not to park next to other cars (I'm super paranoid about scratches/dings), and have found that most other people that park as far away as me see it as a "well, there aren't any other cars so I can park however the fuck I want" ticket.

CJ

I bet that's as far in as that truck goes.  My friend's Silverado has a problem with small parking spots.

Rupert

Yeah, parking big trucks is a bitch. It's not too hard to get it to go where you want (actually pretty easy if your bed is empty and you reverse), but spaces are so small in a lot of places, that you end up looking like an asshole.

As a side note, I would rather reverse a big truck than reverse most cars.

I'd rather reverse a truck because you can at least see the back of the bed so you know exactly here the truck ends.

No, the back of the truck is hanging over the middle line which separates the parking spaces.  The other end of the space is open.  Here's a crude illustration of what I'm talking about.
