Good parking isn't about following all the rules, it's about be courteous to other people and not taking up more space than you need or keeping people from parking because the space you left is too small.

The other day I did something sort of similar. Some douche was taking up 2 spots by not pulling in straight into the lines. I pulled up right on his front end which was protruding into the actual parking space I wanted. I sat there and waited for him to come out of the store.  He got all flustered trying to back out so I gave him just enough room whIle giving him the evilest "wtf dude" look I could give.

Honestly, you gotta give the driver here some slack.  If someone in the car I was driving (including myself) was really sick, potentially on death's door, I wouldn't give a shit where I parked outside the emergency room.  The car's not blocking anyone.
