Accord won't start - just rapid clicking from driver footwell

the starter solenoid pulls the starter gear to mesh with the ring gear in your flywheel, starts to spin the starter, the battery voltage drops and the solenoid can't hold the starter gear to stay engaged so it pops out, the starter spins freely so the battery load drops and therefore the voltage picks back up and the solenoid pulls the spinning gear back in and it smacks the ring gear.... Rinse, wash, and repeate

Meh... I'm sure starters are made to deal with a couple of dead battery starts

Electric motors pull a LOT of juice, especially when they're just starting. They're made to use what they use- they can't really work with less. :huh:
