Since we've all seen the craptacular list for GT5, what cars do you feel should be there?

Cookie Monster

You're just mad that they didn't include the Chery QQ in the game.

I know it might had been a little too late but the 2011 Mustang GT.  Also the Pontiac G8, Ford Fiesta (stock and rally), first gen SHO and the new one, the new Falcon, Hyundai Genesis, a few more classic European cars, both gen CTS-V, and that's about it.

I'm inclined to not believe this is the real list.......they don't have such essentials as the new Civic Si.

Mustangfan2003

I hope it isn't the real list, or else I wished I didn't already trade in Forza.

I was looking at the GT5 car list on some random site and this is what i saw:

Honda NSX
Honda NSX Type S
Honda NSX Type V
Honda NSX Type T
Honda NSX Type R
Honda NSX Type A
Honda NSX Type G
Honda NSX Type VD
Honda NSX Type RR
Honda NSX Type O
Honda NSX (89)
Honda NSX (91)
Honda NSX (98)
Honda NSX (01)
Honda NSX (01) super special orange
Honda NSX Type S super special orange

And thats just the NSX.  The GTR and RX-7 had just as many listings of the same car and the Miata was its own 5 pages too.  I'm excited about the game but I just wish there werent so many different versions of a same car.

There's a difference between quantity and quality. I wish this had more quality.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

well, hopefully most of the 2010/2011 cars will be available for download soon, but I have a feeling you're going to have to pay for them

The collector's edition of GT5 comes with 5 downloadable car vouchers, so I have a feeling they won't be free.  The collector's edition is $40 more then the rest of the game (but does come with other stuff than the vouchers too)

What?

People don't realize; GT5 is touting 1000 cars, but 800 of them came from GT4, exact models and all.

Polyphony loves those damn Japanese cars... you could fill a garage with GT-R/NSX/MX-5 variants, but GT4 was the first game with ANY M3

List I saw indicates that the 370Z will be in the game (called Fairlady Z Z34).

Not only that but the time trial GT5 demo featured the 370Z already; it'd be strange to omit it in the retail release.

sportyaccordy

^x2, didn't know that. Thinking about it, that would make sense. I'm sure the latest versions of all the cars they had before will be in the game too.

Here are some other cars I would love for them to put in as well:

Toyota Soarer Z10/Z20 chassis'
Toyota Mark II/Cressida/Cresta yadda yadda from the X70 chassis forward
Toyota Celica RA30, 40
Nissan Cefiro A31
Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 (all generations)
Mazda Cosmo
Acura Legend (all gens)
Acura Vigor (both gens)

They should also allow for more modifications. Engine swaps, drivetrain swaps (i.e. changing a FWD car to RWD via motor/tranny swap, or changing an AWD car to RWD via driveshaft removal or w/e), wheel sizing options (w/effects on performance for weight and diameter) yadda yadda... That, combined with the 1000 cars and the return of the various tracks they had in GT2 that they cut for GT3 (Red Rock Ridge or w/e, Rome Day/Night, that windy German track, some others) would be cool too. I'm still leaning towards Xbox 360 though.

What?

People don't realize; GT5 is touting 1000 cars, but 800 of them came from GT4, exact models and all.

Some of the models they took right from GT4 were concepts or prototypes when GT4 was made but they still only have concept versions of those cars in GT5
Chevrolet Silverado SST Concept ?02
Honda NSX-R Concept ?01
Mazda Atenza Concept ?01 - there are production versions in the game, why did they keep the concept
Nissan GT-R Concept (Tokyo Motor Show 2001) ?01 & Nissan GT-R Proto ?05 - there is a production version in the game but they kept 2 concept versions
Pontiac Solstice Coupe Concept ?02
Pontiac Sunfire GXP Concept ?02
Subaru IMPREZA Rally Car Prototype ?01

They should have checked the GT4 car list for updates before putting the whole list in GT5
2016 Volkswagen GTI (Aug 2015 - Present)
2008 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg (Aug 2011 - Aug 2015)
2003 Saab 9-3 2.0t (Oct 2007 - Aug 2011)
1990 Nissan Maxima SE (July 2003 - Oct 2007)

As sad as it is to say, they really do need more time to make this game.

No, they need to manage their time better.

Six years, and we get a messed over car list and the same flaws of GT4.

I want to badly not to buy this game because of this, but oh well.  I wish someone else would come out with a game with good physics for the ps3.

Well, we'll see about some of the other flaws. I'm not going to assume the game is identical to Prologue. The car list however is one of the worst kept secrets around. I just think more will be available through DLC and they plan on making money on this aspect. Probably true for the tracks as well. More development dollars for GT6 when it comes out in 20 years.
