It's not broken.  It's a 2007 V6 Accord with less than 50,000 miles and lifetime Mobil 1 5W20 synthetic.  It's not broken.  It's just an unremarkable vehicle that doesn't particularly like warm weather.  It doesn't accelerate with the sense of urgency it does in cooler weather.  It feels different.

All cars lose a wee bit of power as air gets warmer (air tends to get less dense) but your parents' Accord, or any other Accord, doesn't lose any more power than any other car. It's just not happening.
