And it barely fit in our alternate garage bay!

It's a TSX Wagon w/Technology Package (nav, camera, other crap). Worst post-delivery drive ever - got stuck in rush hour and crawled home with an average speed of 10mph. Color is "Graphite Luster Metallic". It's definitely a handsome car, if I do say so myself.

Taking delivery

First things first - pair the blue teeth (sales guy in passenger seat)

The weather here was too crappy to have any fun with the car, but we did enjoy the A2DP Audio feature. I played Internet radio on the stereo on the whole ride home from my parents. Who needs XM?

Congrats! It is a nice looking car (especially in that color), and I'm not a wagon person so that actually means something coming from me. What helped you make the decision?

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

CALL_911

You made the right decision. Awesome car.

The Sorento was a nice car but probably too much car for our needs. It would make more sense if we weren't just a couple of DINKs. We decided that AWD wouldn't be a huge help, because the massive car pileup that occurred when our hill got icy included many AWD SUVs - only the cars with chains were able to make it. So what's the point of AWD for us, then, besides just sucking gas?

Nice! I'm glad that you didn't get a cute ute, and that's a good looking car. More better pics!

True, but so are good pics taken during a sunny day.

Of course, that's only after a month of bugging the new car owner to take them.

Kevin, it is because of people like you that the wagon won't die. Just wait and watch: Cadillac will pull the CTS wagon after this generation gets replaced in 2013 or so, citing insufficient sales. Subaru has already killed anything resembling a wagon in the US; instead replacing them with a hatchback at the low end and an SUV-like thing at the top to do battle with the awkward Venza and ungainly Crosstour -- neither of which are wagons, to be honest. No one quite realizes the virtues of the wagon. But you do, Kevin. You do.

Face it, you just did America a favor.

Wow, beautiful car. Congrats!! Love the exterior color.

And yes BTW when took delivery of my car one of the first things I did was pair my iPhone to the car via bluetooth.

PS. What color interior? It looks either grey or black from the pictures...?

Initially I looked and wondered what the hell that was. I didn't even know a TSX wagon existed

Nice car though

Congrats. Looks good and the new Acura beak doesn't look that offensive either. Was this your birthday gift or something?

Wow, nice. I don't think I've seen any of those driving around yet (north Everett isn't exactly Acuraland though).
Wagonerd question- does it have some kind of solid rear cover or a rolly horizontal windowshade thing like a Subaru?

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

very cool. TSX's are probably the best-looking wagons on the market right now. Quite an accomplishment considering Acura's other offerings.

Thanks.

The interior is black. Cargo cover is a flexible windowshade thingy.

Congrats on the new car.  'Bout time, too!  Was there anything you DIDN'T drive before deciding on the TSX wagon?  The TSX is the only appealing Acura and the wagon looks very nice.  Now get rid of that silver boomerang glued to the snout and it would be perfect!

Car's a pleasure to putt around in (that's all I've had the opportunity to do, thanks to the regularly awful traffic) but I have to say that I hate these newfangled floor-hinged accelerators. It robs you of the ability to blip the tip of the gas pedal with your toe, because the bottom of the pedal has practically no mechanical advantage.
