I drove 90 today.

The fastest I've driven was 125-ish in my friend's mustang. Her car hauls ass.

I was away on business the whole weekend. Lot's of Autobahn driving. All that speeding sucks down gas. But it's good to know I still have a 50 km range at 195 km/h with an almost empty gas tank. Try doing that in a Ford Excursion 6.8 V10! 




Eventually I was running on fumes with a 26 km range. You don't want to know my fuel bill. 48.37 liters in a 50 liter fuel tank cost me 80.30 Euros!

I've been touching 100 a lot lately, but I usually bring it back down to 85 when I realize how fast I'm going.

Hit 180 km/h today but didn't feel like going faster. More important is that I have an estimated 810 km range with a not so full gas tank (a diesel 118d would hit over 1,000 km!!!).

It's less about safety and more about fleets trying to limit fuel consumption.

The Excursion had a 44 gallon tank. 14mpg on the highway. So, yeah, I'd try that in a Ford Excursion. No prob.
