I'm surprised they're not going with a passenger version. They're already building it for New York cabbies; at the very least, why wouldn't taxi drivers elsewhere want one?

Mated to a CVT automatic.....those things have only recently become fairly reliable - even still I'm not 100% keen on it.



Loaded down with weight, it's going to be a fucking dog. Coupled with the fact that the CVT is going to have to cope with a lot more excess weight (2.0L and CVT - this is the drivetrain out of the Sentra) which means it's probably not going to hold up well at all.


So yes, I don't see that powertrain having much in the way of longevity.
