Except the opposite is true, aside from the newness/lower mileage.
He said besides the steering and weird clutch, the Yaris is better.

I wouldn't know, I haven't driven either car.

I've driven examples of both; but to be fair, I've driven at least four Foci, and only one Yareiss (once was enough).

Why? Seemed like a freaking headache, and your new car seems better in almost every way.

It was a nightmare and a money pit, and the engine is actually pretty mediocre, but the steering feel and handling of the car is truly divine. Drive an old Focus, and you'll understand.

Hatchback drives different than sedan. Hatch actually feels far more tippy, and from what I remember, the steering in the hatch was a little vague.

Sold it yesterday. Got $1400 from a cop in nearby Canton. He didn't open the hood, or even drive the car over 40MPH. He pretty much said "this car feels good, how much?". And five minutes later I was $1400 richer.

He says he had a Focus with 200K, but the electrics crapped out. He had some income, he had some pretty expensive mods on his Jeep Commander (car he drove up in) and needed a cheap gas saver to shuffle back and forth to work in.

I really am going to miss this car (sort of). During it's last drive, I remebered why I loved this car so much. The great chassis, the awesome steering, the great amount of grip.

Then when I got out, I remembered why I was selling it. The horrible problems, the somewhat tight interior, the fuel economy (in the city).

Make sure you don't speed in Canton -- when the wheels fall off the Focus, that cop is going to be wanting revenge.

Because I don't live in Section 8.

LOL. Mitsu Diamente is really, really section 8. Those are the folks that aren't even hood rich enough to buy an old Acura Legend or Integra.
