Not much of a choice in Mexico.

Only thing I don't like about your car, Mexico, is that damn dealer sticker they put on below the right taillight. That always pisses me off. :rage:

It's easy enough to take off. Some adhesive remover and a plastic scraper... or a razor blade if you're daring like me

Nice pick up man good stuff.

So the E46 is out? I'm guessing with this you won't miss it.

I think it will stay stock. Maybe steel brake lines, fluid and pads for the track. However my initial impression is that the brakes are phenomenal - but of course the track is a different environment so we?ll see. The first day it is definitely going in stock.

The exhaust has actually a very nice rumble even from low rpms. I?d say that it sounds nicer than the E90 M3 down low. To really get a sporty sound from the E90 you have to make it shriek beyond 5K RPM - then it sounds like a race car. My favourite sound-wise is the crazy metallic sound of the E46.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

Most likely. But I will wait at least a month to let the 1M novelty wear off a bit and then I will decide. It also depends on how my personal $$ and emotional situation evolves over the next few months.

I love the E46 because it was my first truly exotic (for Mexico at least) car. I took my first track driving lessons in it and It was the first car I tracked. I trust it enough to push it to the limit with DSC off.

It's a shame that the E46 and the 1M have to fight for a spot in your garage. I know that E46s are pretty replaceable, but sentimental value counts for something there, and they really are great cars. It'd probably be my next car if I didn't want a convertible. The E90 certainly seems like a better compliment to the 1M than the E46 though.
