You call that unknown?

I'll give you unknown!  How about a supercar made by a whole company that is almost unknown?

I give you the Cizeta V16T.  Only eight were built before the company went bust.  Two more were later made from leftover parts.

Now THAT is what I call unknown!

I know that car! Giorgio Moroder supposedly had a hand in somehow building it! A guy who composes music aids in building a supercar. How screwed up is that?

Is that the same Panther firm that built the Panther Six?

Yes, they were both made by the same Panther company.  The two cars you posted are, in fact, the only two Sixes Pather ever built.  This monstrosity was powered by a 500 cubic inch (8.2 litre) Cadillac V8 with a couple of turbochargers slapped on for good measure!  I don't think anyone was insane enough to see how fast this thing could actually go.  I know I wouldn't want to try it!

One of their most successful models was the Panther Rio, a Triumph Dolomite kitted out with every 1970s luxury amenity immaginable.  It must have been the inspiration for the Cadillac Cimarron?  Being hand built means the Panther Rio was probably much nicer than the Cimarron, however.  Still, I can't inagine why anyone would want to spend good money on either car.

 :nono:  Concepts don't count!

Or at least I don't think they do.

Personally, I think only cars which were sold to the public (and somebody paid real money for) should be considered.

It's not exactly unknown, but no one remembers it unless you post a picture.  So, it's more of a forgotten exotic.

Yes.

The Solo was their last hurrah before they gave up making cars.

I saw that Panther 6 at the NEC Classic Car Show in the UK in 2009. Bizarre!
