That was one of the worst-shot videos I've ever seen.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

The car was donated to charity, and all the shooters made a donation. It had also already been written off by the owner's insurance and could not be sold without a "salvage" title.

I'm not expecting a rag from the UK to get a story involving gun rights correct, but I would expect them to at least to get their facts straight.

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

It's also not a $100k car. Probably at most $40k, and likely less.

It was 11 years old and needed $20,000 worth of repairs.

KBB on a 2000 Porsche 911 with 50k miles is $21k in "fair"condition.

Thing was probably worth more dead than alive; or more specifically, probably worth more as a tax write off than if sold as scrap or to some shade tree mechanic.

More info then: the fundraiser charged $30 per shooter, of which there were 140: which means it raised about $4200.

Although the fact that its getting noticed on lots of blogs probably means it had a fair amount of publicity value for the organization as well.

Did that movie ever come out?

Yeah, it was made in 2001 but wasn't released until 2003 because of 9/11, and even then it had a very limited run.

I first saw it when I bought the DVD, and I think it's an awesome movie.
