From the inside at least, from the outside it sounds way better IMO.  I think rotaries sound like vuvuzelas until they get high up in the rev range (of course they get better the more rotors there are!) while the 1.8L V6 sounds sweet all the time.


Also, a KL-ZE swapped Miata would be pretty cool.

Mazda made one just to see how it would work out. And I know of one guy of at Miata.net who made one. But it's very hard to do from what I've found looking up info on it. You have to make all kinds of shit to make it fit and work with the way the oil pan is.
