Today's cars do a pretty good job of striking the right ride/handling balance, but nothing available today beats the old boats in terms of pure highway comfort.

I've been pretty uncomfortable in today's softer cars (the older Camry, especially, made me feel a bit queasy, and I do not get carsick easily, or at all, really), so those old boats would be the last thing I'd choose for a long trip.

Well then, I'm sorry you have the constitution of an 6-year old girl.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

I don't even call it carsick.  It's seasick.

And I don't get seasick either.  I'm more comfortable in cars with controlled rides.

You're so tough and manly.

Except you couldn't drive a '68 Mustang GT 390 without getting "seasick."

Er, wait a second...

You're interpreting my post as combative when I'm simply stating a preference.
