OK, it's not rear wheel drive, but the handling is great as it has a wheel in each corned. It's a fabulous car. I could imagine Raza in one of those.

Hmm, not my first choice, but I saved it on my Autotrader account.  Not a bad car, really.  Saw one on the road today, really zipping through traffic.  Looked good. 

Out of all of these cars you're considering, don't see how the Z4 isn't top of the list, honestly. It's fast, handles like a champ, competent interior. Reliability is decent. Is it a Honda? Nah. But who cares. I could never imagine buying a car based on hypothetical repair costs 100K miles from now.

As long as you're willing to concede to buying a water pump at some point, go for it. It didn't scare me away when I was looking at Bimmers a few months back. At the end of the day, you'll enjoy driving this car more than any other. There are really no compromises with the Z4.

I couldn't say anything about how comfortable the S2000 is, compared to the Z4, but the S2000 would probably be more fun.

I've been in an A3. I didn't find it any better screwed together than my car. In fact, I like my car's interior styling more. IMO, the A3 is a properly stupid buy against a 4-door GTI.

If I keep the Jetta now, I'll be really underwater next year.  I'm even, and it'll depreciate faster than I will be paying down the loan.  So far, I haven't been swayed from the S2000.
