Yeah, I fail to see the terribleness.
I've spoken with two people who owned one and they both said it was good for taking out for a blast ont he weekend, but not much else.  Uncomfortable and very hot.

Interior looks great as well, though I don't like the weird shit going on with the inside of the speedometer. Looks really distracting.

It is completely configurable, so you can change it if you want. C&D reports a hand sanded/buffed paint job. With this car's level of performance, style, craftsmanship, and now, technology, GM has quite a task ahead of it with the C7. Should be fun to watch!

I'm speechless.  It's better than I could have ever imagined.

640 hp
600 ft-lbs of torque
3,297 lbs (lightest Viper ever)
5 lbs per horsepower (only the Veyron and Ferrari F12 are better)

I can't imagine what the ACR version is going to be like, especially after all of that experience racing...

It looks brash and bold, that's for sure. I will have to look at it some more so I can form a better opinion of it.

I wish it had more glass, but otherwise it's extremely hot.

The only thing I don't like is how the hood scoops kind of look like some sort of horned animal.

I love how they brought back the rear half of the original GTS and put a whole new front half on it.  It's hawt!!!

I'm not seeing what you're talking about.  Elaborate please.

Not a fan at all of the styling, nor the car in general, since the late first gen GTS.

I'm looking forward to seeing this thing on the track.

I dislike the styling.  They basically just have the old GTS with a front end from some non descript american kit car.

mojammer

It looks good, possibly very good, but not great.  Honestly I thought it'd be a bit stronger than it is.  640 isn't anything to sneeze at, but the ZR1 had that 3 years ago, and the mustang gt500 has it now.

S204STi

Running that old lump is possibly a hindrance.  What are they going to do in the ALMS with displacement restrictions for the GT class?
