I just heard back from the dealership. They got the complaint I filed with The BBB. They asked for a couple days to get things in line. The Manager said they'll refund me the purchase price of the extended warranty if these guys won't play ball. We'll see........

"Fuck you, I won't do what ya tell me!"

Nice job!

My new spoiler arrived today. I think i'll paint it and mount it this weekend. As far as the control arms issue Quality Guard still refuses to fix them so I cancelled my policy. My money will be refunded in full.

Wow.  Keep that in mind everyone: Don't buy Extended Warranty from Quality Guard.

Definatly! I was gonna keep the warranty and take the car in for every lil problem but If they won't fix the control arms they won't fix anything else!

finally got everything installed. 50%/35% tint on all windows, Vinyl wrapped the roof, Blacked out front arrow, and Painted and installed rear spoiler.

Before: Bare roof with tint installed.

Primed spoiler.

Finish roof and spoiler and black arrow.

My "Fuck your stick figure family" Sticker.

I'm pretty happy with the turnout. But the rear spoiler paint is too white so I'm thinking a about wrapping it in CF vinyl.

Didn't anyone tell you that tinting your windows for 16 year olds and for people who don't want to see out of their cars?

6 month update! I still hate the Atari gauges and the window washers that are attached to the wiper arms! other than that the car has been flawless! Also I just got my first oil change alert so I'll be doing that next weekend. I'm not looking forward to this 8 quart oil change!

I finally got my control arms installed. The steering in tighter but there's still a small knock when I hit a bump.  :rage:  The guys on the G8 forum say this happens all the time and I prolly need to replace some bushings also. I've also found out that not matter what you do the wipers chatter unless its a heavy downpour.  :banghead: Other than those 2 issues i really like the G8 so far......

DUDE - I HATE chattering/noisy wipers. How is it auto makers still can't get this right? I've noticed that a weekly cleaning of the windshield (REAL cleaning, as in using jeweler's cutting compound or the like helps but still not perfect).

CJ

Try a different brand of wiper?  That's about all you can do.

I use the Rain-X wipers and get no chattering at all even on hot and dry days.

I've always had great luck with Bosch Icon wipers.  I stray away from time to time, but always go back.

These are new blades and cleaning them helps a little!

The guys over on the G8 forums haven't had luck with any other wiper. It's at least 10 threads about these shitty wipers/wiper arms.

I don't think any of they guys tried those yet. I mite have to give them a shot! The catch is the passenger wiper is so small it's really hard to find!
