2008 G8 GT.  :rockon:  It's not as sexy as The Vette but I found it pretty cheap and in the exact color combo I wanted!

The dealer gave me 500 buck off because of a small crack in the front lip and another grand (I told him it  would have to be imported from Australia  ;)  ) off because the rear spoiler was missing. They're 100 bucks on Ebay.  :evildude:

i love the red seats.

I've been watching them for a while. Plus a friend made me a cash offer on my Vette than I couldn't turn down. And pretty soon my daughter will be taking over the Corolla so I need a vehicle thats a lil more winter friendly for now.

A Friend offered me 5 grand more than I payed for it. And Imma need a car that I won't mind driving in the winter because I passing the Toyota on to my daughter. I'll probably pick up a C7 in the next couple years!

Congrats! It'll be sad to see the Vette go, but at least you replaced it with a car that you're fond of.

True! With the exception of those ridiculous door handles on the C6 I loved the car and would have kept it through the summer.

Heck, I would've kept it as a family heirloom, but an offer of $5k above your purchase price is too good to refuse. He must be a true friend ;)

The main selling point was the Automatic! He wanted a Yellow auto and said he couldn't find one that he liked!

That's exactly the colour combo I wanted to get.  The whole "importing parts from Australia" part turned me off, but I love that car.

Yellow = new pillar placement, ala 599's buttresses.

Red = old

Is this the Pontiac where the front tires are bigger than the rear tires to help put all that power down properly to the front wheels? I can't tell from the pics!
