At least syphilis is an actual word that people can relate to!

Much like S550, GL320 CDI, C63 AMG or E350.

You're right, everyone else is incorrect. M-B can do no wrong. H&H is the only reason anyone should buy a car.

Nissan fanboys don't like hypocrites and idiots.

Incidentally, you can say something to that effect for most people (but not MB fanboys).

Hmmm... I recall commenting on the silly name of the car, not the car itself. So I have no idea why all of a sudden there is talk about MB in this thread.

Because it's fun to turn a useless thread about a car no one gives a shit about, into a H&H fest!

Japan has really lost its way in car design.
agreed, but i bet sentra sales will increase significantly when the new model is introduced. the same hold true for the '13 altima, i bet. i think the versa sedan is on target sales wise, but i cannot be certain. i still love the maxi's look inside and out.

Interesting.  I think this is at least better looking than the frumpy outgoing model.

Well, at least Nissan has taken any sense of excitement or enthusiasm out of car buying. I imagine the ride home from the dealership after buying one of these things is akin to buying a new coffee pot from Target.

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

You're right. When I'm an avid car enthusiast looking for a car to raise my heart rate and give me a shot of adrenaline, I'm going to go and buy a Sentra!

Barring the B13, when was the last time anyone looking for any "sense of excitement or enthusiasm" bought a fucking Sentra/Versa? Provided they're looking in this class, they'd go for a 3/Focus/Golf.

I don't know man.  A good coffee maker can really change your life.  I've been researching one for weeks.

I wasn't arguing that a Sentra provides heart-pounding excitement. I was saying that the mere act of buying a new car is usually pretty exciting. Nissan has finally designed a car that is so amazingly bland that it takes even that bit of excitement away from unthusiasts.

How would that be the case any moreso than the Civic? I mention the Civic because I know like 3 people who recently got new Civics (admittedly, one of those three is my little cousin) and are/were excited about it.

I would argue the Civic still looks pretty good and still drives well despite being so old.  This Nissan is so bland I can't remember what it even looks like and I just looked at the picture.

What SVT said. The Civic takes a lot of shit around here, but it's still a respectable vehicle.

It's worse in every way and takes several steps backwards from the old model.

It's outclassed by pretty much everything.

Are you talking about the new Civic, or the old Civic. The old Civic is pretty good. The new one sucks.

You know, just maybe we're operating off a false assumption that this is going to be the next Sentra. The last/current Sentra wasn't offered anywhere outside N.America, IIRC, so it wouldn't be absurd for them to give us perhaps a uniquely-styled body on a variation of this platform as the next Sentra.

Nissan releaseda teaser of the Sentra that looks exactly like this.

The Civic has an interior fabricated by Fisher-Price and is outclassed by everything, including its predecessor. I'm pretty sure this is more worth getting excited about than the Civic is.

Yeah, I guess. I wouldn't buy either of 'em personally.
