What do you guys think of this? It's an I6 M-package, 5 speed. I've always liked the look of the Z3 (HATE the Z4). 114k kms = around 68,000 miles.

It isn't? if the M package is merely a sport package with the standard 3.0 I6, is this still not a good deal?

I dont think they had an ///M package for that model

It was either a Z3 M or a regular one. I would pass on this one, owner seems like a real dummy

Well, I think it is a good option. It is very fast (231hp, light weight) and probably pretty much bulletproof since it?s close to the end of the production run for the Z3. And it looks good.

Lots of fun.

Hay'lllll nooooooo

Edit:

Well, it looks like those are the going rates for 'em.

I thought thats about how much M Roadsters were going for.  Oh well.

The Z3 holds its value very well. M roadsters are a lot rarer and more expensive.

This is still a true sports car anyway since it has the later 3.0L engine and its a proper manual.

The main thing to look for with the Z3 (and E36s, early E46s) are rear subframe tearing issues. That can be expensive to repair but it is relatively easy to inspect if a particular car has the problem. The drivetrain is pretty much bulletproof except for perhaps some cooling system maintenance.

I like it.  I also liked the Z3 more than the Z4 on looks alone.  M Package is suspension and appearance only.  No engine improvements.  I thought you wanted a Porsche.

I still do, but I always liked the Z3 as well. The price of this one gives me lots of room for other toys, whereas a nice 911 or Boxster will take most or all of my budget.

Z3 M would be preferable, but that still looks to be a respectable sports car.

I love the wheels. I always love black wheels on BMWs. Don't know why, just think they look awesome!

sportyaccordy

I am not crazy about black wheels. They look like steelies

The Z3 is the car of a hairdresser.

Get it.

P.S. Black wheels are awesome on this car.

That would have to be an expensive hairdresser.

I really like this car, wheels and all.  Plus, because it's not too much money, you can afford a supercharger.  You know you want it.

The ricers in my area are switching the white rims now.
