Even if it came with diesels, nobody in Europe would buy it... Europeans hate American brands...

Except for the English and Ford.

It will never be a big seller, but with diesel engine options it would sell better.

But maybe the taxi market will gobble some up - if it came with a diesel. The Chevrolet Epica was fairly popular as a taxi because it was cheap and roomy and could be had with a diesel motor.

We are getting this car in Europe soon. It looks great. Reminds me of the gorgeous 1972 Chevy Impala sedan!

But GM apparently has no plans to offer it with diesel engine options - which means only ten people will buy one...

That many?

It's a much better number than the three people who bought an Infiniti FX last year.

I have taken the convo down a wrong path, surprised nobody called me on it. I meant Malibu, not the Impala. The Impala is fine for what it is, though I think nuns will deem it the devil's work upon seeing the new design.

In that case, I'm thinking they made the Malibu smaller to make room for a larger gap between it and the Impala.

But now its so small that its no longer class competitive. Overall interior room is nearly identical to Cruze, and not super far from Sonic.
