Should I upgrade the exhaust on the G37?

Should I upgrade the exhaust on the G37?

Yes
No

CJ

Yeah, that looks cheesy. I don't like aftermarket exhausts on anything

CALL_911

It looks funny, solely because the exhaust doesn't match with the stock wheels. It makes the wheels look very small and frumpy, IMO.

If it had bigger wheels, it'd look great.

If it could have been done better, the manufacturer would have already done it.
Fail.

He was saying the same thing to Cougs that Cougs says to everybody else when they talk abut modifying.  It was 100% sarcasm.

In my strongest of opinions it is extremely rare that aftermarket wheels enhance the look of a vehicle. I perused a number of G forums in the hopes of joining but they were all so filled up with cars ruined by wheels (and lowering) I couldn't bring myself to join. However, many forums seem to quite a knowledgeable group that have provided some help (as in a TSB for A/T programming that I'm in need of) though they're prone to the prototypical afflictions that affect the automotive enthusiast community at large (particularly oil and the reliance on chassis dynos).

I haven't found a single aftermarket wheel I like for the G.  I want my winter tires on different wheels, but I don't want steelies.

I think they look okay. The issue is finding these wheels is hard for the AWD as the wheel sizes (18 x 7.5) were the same front and rear whereas on the RWD they're staggered (18 x 17.5 F and 18 x 18.5 R). Far far more of these upgraded wheels came on RWD cars making them much harder to find in the aftermarket (the ones you posted are a staggered set from a RWD car). I don't think I've ever found a full AWD set for sale.

I prefer these though:

Lebowski

Bottom ones look better.  And yeah, aftermarket wheels look terrible 99.999% of the time.

But Cougs, 18" wheels are why you passed on the Sport model.

I've taken a couple of videos but they suck. The car just doesn't want to rev at a standstill - sluggish and limited to ~5,000 rpm.
