Almost with you but 0-60 is not important in a Fiesta class car whereas economy is.

I pay that much for 3 fill-ups, or 170 - 180 liters of Super 98 in total

...because of subsidies.  Pretty awesome

I drive a Yaris, same class as Fiesta. The 1.2L won't be economical or fast, it'll just be cheap and avoid some taxes and insurance costs.

Agree in this case, what i am also saying is some slow cars are economical.   The 1.0 mk1 Yaris is frugal in all conditions for example.  The 1.25 Ford engine is ancient which may explain things

I agree with that as well; the 1.0L in the Yaris makes a good amount of power for it's size, and the car is pretty light.

That's actually true ... still, almost double of what i used to pay back in 2000, and of course the highest price in the entire Penisula

Yep.  Is it Qatar or Oman who are the cheapest?

Saudi and probably Kwait have the cheapest. I've only driven in Oman and theirs was 10 - 20% cheaper. Dunno about Qatar, but I have friends working/living there so i shall ask.

PS: Both Oman and Qatar have higher prices in general then the U.A.E. (except fuel)
