I'm glad Jag no longer makes the 1970s looking cars they made until like, 1998. This car is just plain beautiful, no way around it!
It is an attractive car but is a disconnect with Jaguar styling.  The C-X75...

...is, to me, more representative of what Jaguar's contemporary/future styling should be.

Any word yet on powertrain?  Are we talking small V8 or medium sized 6 (with or without forced induction)?

Supercharged 3.0L V6, 5.0L V8, supercherged 5.0L V8.

I don't care if this looks like a Jaguar or not. This thing looks awesome.

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

A couple of tweeks would improve it immensely.  Get rid of that ugly plastic piece in the grille and the gills.  Then it might look like a Jag.

Nobody was buying cars that looked like Jags. And in any case Jags still dont look like anything else out. I think this will be a good thing if they can keep the weight down.

I think it looks as much like a Jag as it can before it won't sell for looking too much like an old Jag.

Mediocre? :banghead:

The concept is gorgeous, but I can't tell much from the small grainy shot that has been leaked. And I'm not super keen on the front fascia.

Maybe seeing it 'in-the-metal' will make a difference.  I get no vibe from the image.

I've always been a fan of Jaguar.  The first time I saw an XK-120, way back when, my jaw dropped.  I still retain that image.  That's what a Jag has to do.  Admittedly, no Jag after the E-type has really done that.  If the F-Type has to compete with the Boxster, the Boxster has it beat hands down, imo.

That rear end is one of the best I have ever seen.

Is that a manual or a fancy automatic?

Well then, forget about that fleeting thought I had a moment ago to replace the Z4 with one in 10 years.

They just don't do it for me.  Yeah, they look neat, but they just don't do it for me anymore...

Priced more, less, or equivalent to a boxster?

Jaguars tend to be overpriced in my opinion, even within the luxury car world.

Anyone got an interior shots yet?  I've really been liking what Jaguar and Land Rover have been doing so far.  Pretty unique stuff compared to their competitors.

Jaguar built it's reputation with manual transmissions cars.

First, I love Jaguar's new design language as implemented on the sedans and the XJ. Second, this doesn't like a Jaguar at all to me.
