It doesn't need more.  Every car could always use more, but it certainly doesn't need it.

Definitely needs more power and another gear and preferably in DSG guise; competition is competitive.

BRZ STI, M3, or 911.

Another possibility is a second vehicle like a CX-5, new Mazda6, WRX or STI...something like that.

BRZ will probably stick around for 4 or 5 years though.  I'm trying to get it paid off in the next year or so and go without a car payment for awhile.

Since you'll have the BRZ paid off so soon and already bought a house, why not awhile with "ever again" ?

Actually, you're right. There won't be any more car payments after this car. No reason to.

Haven't decided yet which car I'll replace first.  Part of me thinks my next car will be a replacement for the Mazda.  I don't drive it a lot, but the body rust is starting to get pretty bad.  In which case, I'll go for something used and preferably a hatch.  AWD would be nice as well.  I'm thinking Impreza or Outback Sport.

Then again, maybe I'll just keep driving the Mazda until the wheels fall off.  I'm down to only driving it a few thousand miles a year since it's largely relegated to winter duty, so it's not like I'm racking up a ton of miles on it.  In which case, I'll probably look to replace the Mustang in 2 years.  I'll have to see what's on the market.  If the next generation Mustang still offers the engine I've got in a lighter, sharper handling package, it could be a winner.  Would also be open to a BRZ, especially if they offer one with a bit more low-end power at a reasonable price.

Truthfully, I think my next vehicle purchase will be of the 2-wheeled variety.  The new Ninja 1000 has really caught my fancy.

Decisions decisions....

More for the sake of more is why a lot of cars today don't make much sense. If anything the next G would benefit from less... weight that is.

To clarify, I'm talking Ninja 1000 (the fully fared variant of the Z1000) and not the ZX10-R.

I know. Its still a beast. ~125 to the wheels stock, just under 500 fueled up, decent suspenders. Wish they made something like it 10-15 years ago, I'd be all over it.

Something to watch out though... your insurance might try to give you a policy for a ZX10R... they see the name ZX1000 and assume ZX10R.

The only two belts in the rear kind of kill me. Otherwise, it's a great car. I had a passive interest in one before my Yaris, and I'm trying to get my brother (who used to drive a Grand Prix) to buy one.

N1K is a ZX10R for people who are honest with themselves.

My buddy's R1 was cool. But after ~2 hours of riding he was beat up and ready to go home. I rode home (another 90 mins, on top of the 90 mins I rode to get out to him) and went to the gym. N1K gives up not a lot on the street, to make for a bike thats ridable.

Colonel Cadillac

I'll be keeping the A4 for another 50,000 miles or so. It's pretty much perfect for Houston--powerful, comfortable, sexy, handles well but the ride isn't hard like the 3-series, fun, and sounds great.

I'll never get over how good it sounds. I know I talk about it too much, but I'll have to hold onto it for awhile because it doesn't get old.

Vinsanity

If the upcoming IRS Mustang turns out to be as good as we all hope for it to be, I might just go the 2-car route and pick up a GT convertible while holding onto the Caddy.

My brother has a Sequoia Limited ... I like it, but it's too big IMO, I like my 4Runner better.  But, I don't have kids.
I've driven one for a weekend and it was a perfect size for us.  Huge for a single person perfect for a family.  Second row is so far from the driver seats there's no way kids can possibly kick the back which would make it worth every single penny for me.  I love my kids- until they start kicking my seat....:rage:

Awesome, I love the Sequoia.  Toyota makes some awesome SUVs and trucks.  In fact, they're probably my favorite manufacturer for that whole segment.  The Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, and Sequoia are all some of my favorites.

Our Explorer is about as big as I want to go.  The problem is that hardly anything out there is that size anymore.  The new Durango is my favourite SUV right now but it's noticeably larger than my Explorer.  Oh well, I'm driving the Explorer till it dies and that will be a long long time.  Especially since I'll be buying a Mustang in the next 2-3 years and the Explorer will be relegated to towing the boat and ski hill duty.  We'll probably have the Explorer for another 15 years.

SVT666 what about a CUV? Something like the RAV-4's size

The sequoia is brutally fast for a 6,600 pound SUV at about 6.1 0-60 has truck frame and 4x4 ability ton and tons of storage area and still manages to ride almost as good as a car get about 20mpg (yes I know it's not listed at 20 but it'll get it) and is really really quiet.  And we like the medium grey or silver cuz they look good w tinted windows.

The only thing I don't like about the Sequoia/Tundra is the weirdass dashboard. That said, I'd probably buy one if I had to buy something in that segment.

Erica can't reach the radio controls.   she will have to use the steering wheel controls.  I'm not a huge fan of the strange layout of the center console on the sequoia but the vehicle just overall out-classes everything in the large SUV segment IMO.

I would take a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.  They're better looking and have the most bulletproof V8 in the industry.  I think it's the only GM product I would actually take over the competition.

GoCougs

The Sequoia is indeed tops in the segment; even better than more upscale rigs. Thing is the styling is indeed all goofy especially the interior (dashboard).
