IMO, a garage with drywall is just a place to park a car, and a garage with wood walls is a place to work.

OSB or standard plywood looks like shit: clear poplar or birch looks just fine. What works even better is 1/4" drywall over the top of OSB.

Why would you replace the brz you just got it?

The BRZ is a fine car.  Since cars depreciate a good amount when they're driven off the lot, jumping around with new cars is a very expensive proposition.

Mike, you're in your wealth building years right now, and the wealth you build now will make your life much better in future years.  Don't piss your money away on stupid shit that brings no real benefit.  Jumping around from car to car is just the male version of a woman who has to have a new pocketbook for every occasion, and it's significantly more expensive.  Keep the BRZ for a while longer.  It's a fine car.  And don't get a second car.  You don't need it.  There's no sense in having depreciating assets that you don't need sitting around gathering dust or being underused.

That depends on what state you live in.  If you live in a state that taxes vehicles as part of registration (registration fees based on vehicle value), you still pay the same taxes as if you bought the car.  Not sure how it works with states that charge regular sales tax at time of purchase.

Meh not really. Got a good deal on it, and it's worth the price of admission to be able to carry things. Glad I did it.

It appears that there's no option for a hitch on the BRZ at the moment. Bummer. I guess that kind of forces you to buy a second car if you want to haul shit.

I have no doubt that the car could tow 1000 lbs, but Subaru doesn't want you to.
