Most cars will do 100,000 miles on ONE engine.
I've bought almost every car I own at 100k +. Many of them I've driven to 150+ K.  Subaru was at 150k but swapping engine this week, Mazda is at 172k, Van is at 132k.... :huh:

I don't really like it- but it looks kinda like the new Escape, which I have seen and DO like. So maybe it will be a'right.

Not a fan of the black partial front bumpers though, hope that fad dies soon.

I have a beef with that.

Nicer trims of the original Taurus had grey bumpers. Grey painted on yellow or black plastic. Over time they chipped/rubbed/wore off and were very ugly.  The cheapest trim however, had black plastic. Never did anything but looked somewhat scuffed up.

It's like the cheap versions of some other cars that look better than the "fancy" two-tone schemes of the nicer trims.

The painted (blue) version of the Forester above looks much better than the black middle front of the other one.. What's up with all that???
