What happens when you combine a Plymouth + Oldsmobile + Ford?

THIS!

This is from last nights Rollendes Museum event. When I first saw this car, I thought there was something wrong with it. The front was clearly Plymouth, but the side view was clearly early '70s Oldsmobile Delta 88 (I know this because that car is so friggin sexy!). Then I saw the rear and was like, huh, that's a Ford Thunderbird rear!!!

Later I had a short chat with the owner and he said the car is actually an Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a Plymouth front and Ford Thunderbird rear tacked on. Not really my style. It's a well-done job in terms of quality, but the parts just don't match in terms of design in my opinion.

In my opinion it's a crime to destroy a 1970s American classic car like this.

The front is cool, but the rear sucks.

1970s Mopar was always cool. Agreed.

The rear just looks tacky. It would look nice on a T-Bird for which it was made, but it looks really tacky on this car...

Thunderbird taillamps and a Lincoln-inspired trunk lid both look out of place on what is clearly an early '70s GM body.  This car is a mess!
