Never been a big fan really. Would like the 240Z with about double the power. Will default to the G37 sedan with the GT-R as back up.

There's a few great Nissans out there, but in terms of looks, my favorite is the Silvia Spec R

( S15 model )

~1970 Skyline GT-R coupes are a favorite of mine too.

KPGC-10s are so awesome. Still though Zs made a boatload more power/torque. That is a hero I'm not sure I would want to meet

I've seen some of those with big N/A RBs swapped in.

I'd probably do extensive engine work or swap in another appropriate motor with some more power. Maybe an E46 M3 I6? 8000 rpm seems appropriate, and the GT-R had an I6.

330 HP would be insane in a car that weighs a touch over 2000 lbs.

Yeah, easy to forget that Nissan actually made a bunch of great cars, they just never sold them here.

And the last one wasn't bad looking either.

Current GT-R I guess...

Now that I think about it, I can't think of a Nissan I've ever liked.  There aren't many car brands out there that don't have any vehicles that resonate with me.

C'mon, when you were 11, you didn't want a Skyline?

I can't speak for him,  but when I was 11 I wanted a Lamborghini Countach.

We never had a Playstation.

Tokyo Extreme Racer, NFS Underground, Sega GT 2002, all those games (I guess GT, GT2 and GT3 count - my friend had a PSX, we had a Dreamcast and later an Xbox) got kids hooked on the R34.

I had PSX + GT and wasn't super crazy about the GT-R. The R32 was a shoe in for big power and winning races, but it was pretty boring to drive. In GT1 my favorite car was the NSX, as it was fast as hell, but a handful. So you had to really be good to actually tame + tune it and win races.

As the games and related physics progressed, the weight and understeer of all the GT-Rs (barring the old RWD ones) became more prominent and completely turned me off. I would do time trials with a bunch of fully built cars, and little RX-7s and S2000s down 100-150HP would turn better lap times in all kinds of tracks, while also being way more fun to drive. Hell I think the E60 M5 all built up was faster than the GT-Rs, and also a ton of fun. Probably stupid, but I think thats where my anti-GTR biases started. Never thought about it until now.

Learn to drive/tune.
I played GT3 with a R34 GT-R tuned to 900 HP, and beat most of the game with it. Traction control set to 1, everything else off. It was a handful, of course, but got the fastest lap times until I got an F1 car.

You could really work with brake bias and power distribution to make R34s handle really well and act more like RWD cars.

Even with all that shit cranked, came nowhere close to something like an RX-7. I do think the WRXs were a little better, and the Tommy Kaira ZZII was basically the best of everything. I think it was more of an issue of weight and size than AWD though; Supras were similarly dull.

I always enjoyed Supras because they were so tail happy.

I'm quite a bit older than you...so no, I didn't.

I didn't really fall in love with cars until 12 or 13, and when I did, I was such a rotary junky.  That's what got me hooked.  On the first Gran Turismo, I was all about RX-7s and Vipers.

Yeah, very nice.  Personally, I could never sit on cars like that and not drive them.  They're meant to be driven.

I love them.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...
