Excessive rear tires consumption on a FWD-biased AWD car

For the second set of tires on my 4Motion Passat that supposedly sends only 10% of the power on norml driving condition, the rear ones are getting consumed more then the front set. It seams a uniform wear through the tread. I use the recomended air pressure of 2.6 Bar (I think it's 35 PSI). The tires, same as the factory fitted ones, are Continental SportContact3 235/40 ZR 18 Y

Any idea?

My guess would be alignment issue.  Even wear would say it's probably not camber.  I would guess some kind of excessive toe-in or toe-out condition on the rear axle.

Actually It did started after I rotated the wheels and askedd them to check and correct the alignement cause the car was kind pushing to the left ..... and i remember the guy did work for long  at the rear, especially on the axle of the driver's side (rear)

Oh, and tio me it sseams that the car does push to the right after that, so probably a overcorrection

That's a Saudi Arabia tradition, here (U.A.E.) they do other things, usually involving SUV-s .... plus me no Arab

Saudi Arabia: 86.3 road fatalities per 100kcar per year.
United States: 15.

So, if you drive a car in Saudi Arabia, you're 5.75 times as likely to die in a wreck. Wow.

(Ethiopia? 11,666 per year, which is 777 times worse than the US rate. How come all of Seattle's taxi drivers are Ethiopian, then?!)
