It's a lot newer and likely out of budget.

Yeah.   Unless you go for an S model, which, again, pushes the price up.

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.2 sec

Maybe in the 1/4 mile, but purely using 0-60 as a yardstick, I'd really have a hard time believing the 300ZX could put down that kind of time (traction issues).  I don't even think an LS2 Corvette has hit that time.

Not counting anything as my own that isn't mine.  I said my mother's car is faster than everything everyone here owns, no need to be say his wife isn't allowed to drive a fast car.

I think his car has like 600 hp. If he doesn't have traction issues I think it'd be faster. I dunno.

Yeah his car IIRC pushes out a lot of horses. He listed some of the mods a long while back.

Well I took the wife window shopping in the name of "fun" and she likes the CLK550 better.  I found out what she really wants is the basement finished- so as much as I hate to say this I'm spending the $$ on the basement.  1,700 sq ft extra space and I'm gonna splurge and go with a 80 or 90" tv depending on what's price is.  Sorry -no new car to bang on about guys.  I'll do build pics if you want.

Also the reason for looking at the older 2008ish model is I wanted to pay cash- guess I should've said that at some point.  Sorry if that confused anyone.

/thread I guess for now.

Roughly 4400 sq ft give or take.  Holy crap that number didn't mean anything to me until I just typed it.  That's roughly 3750 sq ft bigger then my last apartment I had by myself.

That's a pretty big space.  The house I'm moving into with my brother feels really big and it's less than that.

Unless it's all garage space. That'd be sweet.

My house is like 1800 sq ft I think, and there's four of us living there.  You guys have some HUGE houses.

Not even I am planning on having that much garage space. It costs $30K to get a prefab unfinished 1500 sqft garage. Add a second 600 sqft building for $14K, finish it off for another $14K, and I still have $20-30K left for land/utilities/installation.

I hope it's not your soon-to-be husband!

But yeah, elevator.  I can't imagine it will get much use.  I'm going to live on the 2nd floor, he's going to live on the third.  It's technically 3 floors and a basement, with the basement being partially above ground and housing the garage.  There's plenty of street parking too, so when I get the occasional use car, I can park it on the street and not really care about it.

Nah, not where it is.  It's not in Center City, it's in a different neighborhood.  I don't want to use the term "up and coming" since that implies that it's shitty now, which it isn't.  It's a nice area that's just outside of Center City.  I don't think it's a stretch that the house will be worth around a million in 10 years, but right now it's less than 600.

Less than $600 for a house like that?   Shit.... I wish I could get something like that here for that price.  I'm sure the price of my current condo I could get something at least 4-5 x bigger.
