This car is awesome in a way that a Ferrari never can be. Ferrari takes itself too seriously sometimes, while Lambo says "f*ck it" and builds a fighter jet for the road. Cars like this are why I fell in love with Lambo as a child
Exactly.

Detractors are missing the point.

Remember the Countash?  Remember how ugly it was?  How ridiculous and unhinged and impractical and insane it was?  Remember how awesome it was?  The Lamborghini was an S&M orgy on the deck of an aircraft carrier laying waste to a small nation on the 4th of July versus the takes-himself-too-seriously Ferrari.  The Lamborghini threw all convention to the wind and built what a seven year old on a sugar rush would have wanted.  Forget about an airplane, this is the closest any of us will get to owning the Millennium Falcon.

Ugly. Lamborghini's are all ugly shit these days.

It looks exactly like I would imagine the end result to be if somebody told a group of Formula One engineers to build an armored stealth car based on a racing chassis.

I do think the port/starboard lights on the roof a little hokey.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Is it possible to get into it without messing up the bodywork and/or without a boarding ladder?

Just the fact that you can't get in the car is fucking awesome.  I love this thing.

Actually,I left out the hokey parts.

You know I do like the jet theme, and cockpit with the orange canopy is awesome. I just think the body work ruins it.

Imagine how much better the following would look without the fenders.

Just make the wheels free standing.

Yeah, I saw the "step here" sign, but look where it's at. I'm just not seeing your typical Lambo owner stepping on top of that fender then lowering himself into te cockpit and only stepping there.

Well it is fairly low to the ground, so it might just work.

Yeah, the Countach was a hunk of shit too.  And I've never aspired to own the Millennium Falcon.  Give me a Ferrari F12 at probably 1/10th the price and an infinitely better car.  Much more classy and understated.  F12 in black

+1

The only Lamborghinis I've liked are the Miura, Gallardo and Murcielago, because they all don't look like piles of shit. The Aventador is OK.

Even when I was little, I always wanted a classic Ferrari or a Porsche 911. Then again I've never liked Star Wars or cared about the millenium falcon.

Perhaps.  I think my 12" penis by the age of 5 had more to do with my maturity than anything.

I dreamt of Ferraris as a child.  Not Lamborghini's.  Sorry, guess I was just born with class

Well, now that Ferraris don't have class anymore, what do you dream of?  Cadillacs?

You're the only one who doesn't like the new Ferraris.

I dreamt of Ferraris and Porsches as a kid.  Lamborghini's were for the losers that would make farting noises during class just for the negative attention.

It wasn't until I learned of the circumstances of Lamborghini's car business that I really fell for the company.

But no, new Ferraris are ugly.  Take off the Ferrari badge and put Toyota badges on and the fog will lifted.

What do the specs have to do with it?  Fast and ugly is still ugly.

Besides, Toyota has proven already that they're more than capable enough to build a world class supercar.  And now Ferrari is making a hybrid hatchback.  The companies are converging.

The only Ferraris I consider to be ugly are the FF and the California. The LaFerrari looks great, IMO.

Add me to that list, for some of them at least. The F12 is awesome, but the 458 is just OK to me, and the California is pretty boring. The F355 and 550/575 were the last of the truly beautiful Ferrari models.

They all drive great, but so do the Lambos, especially the new ones. Plus, the Ferrari owners, like the company itself, take themselves WAY too seriously. At least in my experience.
