As much as I love Alfas, I'm not sure what the hype is all about.

We can go on all night...

If the looks don't sell it to you, then the sight and sound of the engine should, and driving it certainly will.

It was, and still is, a tremendous car. Let me repeat again - for the benefit of the doubters - I loved every minute of mine, which amounted to 4 years and 160,000 miles. Wish I had never let it go back to the leasing company.

Yes, it is a beautiful looking, and sounding, engine.

It was used up until around 2005 looking almost unchanged:

Starting from 2005 they changed to a GM V6, which looks a lot more vanilla.

That's a great looking intake manifold.  Not SHO great, but what is?  Nice purchase man.

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

That intake looks far better than the SHOs. In fact the SHO has one of the ugliest intakes ever.

Man, what is it with you lately? It's like you're going out of your way to say stupid things. Is this some sort of inside joke?

I think that engine rivals the Yamaha in the SHO for FWD V6 engine looks.

No love for the SVT 'tour engine?  :(

It would be a lot better if it wasn't made out of plastic.

The upper intake manifold was cast, probably the most durable part about the entire engine

You are all kinds of crazy.

I dunno... Looking at the SHO engine again, and I'm obviously biased, but I like mine better.

It looks great alright.  One of the best.  But the SHO's is still prettier.  Ed is right though, the SVT Contour looks awesome too.
