New powertrains with better economy. Better hybrid system. New "Earth Dreams" motors.

Shame it looks so bad. The old car wasn't really good looking, but this one looks both cheaper and older than the current model. And worst of all, it looks cheaper and older than competitors in the class.

Also, there's no more flat floor, and the magic seats look like they've been dropped. Shame, a really nifty feature of the old car.

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

I think it looks like shit, but I'm starting to warm up to it. A little. It's proportioned very, very, very strangely, more strange than the current one.

And that gash in the side of the car masquerading as a character line makes the car look very cheap.

First reaction was "WTF" due to the grill. The rear is a little funky, but not in a bad way. Overall a decent looking car, especially if you can get a different grill.

It's really bad, but there are a lot of elements I don't hate.

Could be worse

Is it bad that new car designs have gotten to the point where that's a reasonable reaction?

The days of the old double wishbone Hondas are long gone.

NomisR

I like it actually, it's not ugly, it's not over styled, it's not offensive, not bad..

Except for the weird crease thing down the sides at door handle level and the touchscreen controls (yes, I know they look cool, but why???) and an dashboard that still looks 'busy', I think it looks pretty good.

The grille seems a lot more muted in the gray color - that's probably the color I'd choose.

Raza

It doesn't look as good as the older models, but it's not bad.

The older ones definitely looked better. Seems like there is more metal instead of glass, and the wheels are too small. If Honda can market it well it should sell though. Def curious to see what their new hybrid powertrain does.

Older one had a heinous front overhang this one doesn't look bad.

Only theAmerican ones had the long nose.

The Honda's from the late '70s through the '80s and up to the early/mid '90s looked the best. Distinctive and handsome styling.

This is definitely a great car but I guess we all look at it from an enthusiast point of view and the design is just a mess IMO.

Garbage. Looks cheap and old.

And I hate that Honda apparently has an engine range called "Earth Dreams".

Those are the only ones we can get in America though.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I'm waiting four the next four engines up the range. The next one should be "water dreams" which is even more bizarre.

This is the Japan-Spec model. If it gets a long nose, it will look fucking worse than it already does.

That would be awesome. Especially if it was a 450 HP twin turbo. Imagine the look on the face of the guy with the "got hemi?" T-shirt when you tell him what's under your hood.
