Pretty good pick seeing how useless it was.  No truck capabilities and too slow for a sports car.  I raise you the Lincoln Blackwood.
Just like The Prowler.........

Remember the SSR eventually got an LS2 and six speed manual.

Too bad it had lead weight in its frame rails. 4760 lbs

I remember when they made the Trailblazer SS with that same motor, too bad that one wast automatic only.

Oh man. What a flop. Massively negative PR for the brand and sales in the double digits. What. A. Waste.

Does Nissan still even make that stupid thing?  I saw one on a lot when it first came out but never seen one on the road.

Rupert

I've never seen one. Kind of figured they were just for commercials or something.

I've seen three on the road and one of them was just this other day. And it's even uglier in person.

I saw one on the road here, w/ the top down. I wanted to roll down my window and ask "wtf were you thinking?"

Honda CR-Z.  What's the point?  It's not fast or efficient.

Aw, I really like those.  If they had 4 seats, I'd totally consider one as a daily driver.

The Blackwood could at least tow.  And while the Blackwood didn't seem to sell very well, the MK LT has seemed to have done OK.

96 Taurus. GAME OVER YEA

I wouldn't say it didn't make an impact.  I believe it was the best selling car of 96.

Sterling 827.

I had a chance to buy one for $2000 near my college. I was so tempted. It sold for less than a same-year Accord V6.

Production of the Sterling 827 and Accord V6 never overlapped. ;)

It wouldn't surprise me that the Sterling commanded a much smaller price than a comparable Acura Legend though, despite the two cars being almost exactly the same. The Sterling was built in the UK, and it showed.

Honda engineering spoiled by Lucas electrics and British build quality.
