I don't think this car is anywhere near as pretty in person as I once thought from the concept.

I don't like Cadillac's interior design direction, but it does look high quality

Well, this was my first big time interior project to really hit the market.  I guess I can talk about it now that it's in production.  I worked on this non-stop for 4 months in Detroit 5-days a week or so.   Quoted and hashed out the design for the whole instrument panel, center console, and door panels.

Shame they're going to sell only a couple hundred a year and has such goofy proportions.  It'll always be kind of special to me.

Pretty cool! Maybe in 20-30 years it would be fun to grab one for nostalgia purposes.

I really dig this car. If it was more reasonably priced (50-60k) I would probably consider buying it.

To me it seems like a really nice looking Chevy Volt, so I understand SOME price premium...but they went too far (80k+) IMHO. At that price point I would just go with a Tesla.

The ELR is still basically a FWD economy car, even if it does look really nice and have a nice interior.

I still can't believe that it's over $80,000.  Unbelievable.  It really should be $50-55k.

To a certain extent, I suspect it might be intentionally overpriced.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?
