Not necessarily.  Not uncommon for SUV versions of truck platforms to have reduced towing capacity compared to their truck counterparts.

I like the i3, it was weird to look at inside and out.


I hate the idea that everything has to be "pretty" to be desirable. There's a lot of quirky looking cars that people buy because they're weird looking.

There is a certain appeal, like our fascination at looking at a pangolin or creatures that stir a certain emotion bordering on morbid fascination.  This is quite the opposite of our basic instinctual appreciation of what is beauty and sensual attraction.

I don't think they're ugly. Definitely "funky" and not sexy, but also not ugly.

I think they are ugly. It just looks like a bunch of different design elements thrown together and adjusted to size.

So how many car companies will die from the financial implosion... GM and Ford have to have an ass ton of money sitting out there in 7+ year car loans about to default

The way they have it structured, they can cut the financial services companies off and write off that loss- to an extent. Ford/GM themselves get their money at least.

Good point... But then they have no finance arm for their products sitting on lots.   No ability to advertise low apr financing.  No income from financing.
