My CX9 was faster but the times I got on it was few and far between. What you have with the 2.5 is a fairly large car with all weather capability and some decent efficiency. I will be surprised if I hit 33 mpg with it but we will see.

As far as the bike thing you can probably get a bike in the back but that's always a PIA. If you get a hitch on it a hitch rack is easier for most people.

The HID headlights should just come with the limited, stupid that they don't.

You can probably get a DIY kit for fairly cheap, or mount some aux. lamps on the bumper.

Putting HID bulbs in a reflector housing is awful. But the hard part is retrofitting projectors into a car that has reflector housings. The new outback already has projectors. Just a matter of replacing the bulbs with HID bulbs and ballasts.

Don't you need the auto leveling device?

The one I got came in a bit under $32k. Not sure what else out there offers more for the money?

I do think the 3.6L adds a lot of cost and doesn't look as good money-wise.
It's a great deal. Makes Volvos seem completely superfluous.

We talked about it today and it seems like there is 99% odds we're joining in on the Outback fun.

I think the 5th gen Outback is going to be a real hit for Subaru.

Going to put down our deposit on Tuesday.

That "warm ivory" leather is pretty pale, isn't it? In the brochures it looks like an inviting hue of brown. In real, non-HDR'd pictures it looks bland and gray like 1990-era Macs. It's too bad that most of the interesting exterior paint colors only come with it.

The color choices suck for the Outback. Maybe that's the big ding against them.

I wonder if Subaru will be doing another Special Appearance Package with brown leather like the 4th gen?

I'm stuck with whatever they have to offer now. Lease expires before the next MY.

I didn't see the Golden Retriever Companion Package nor the COEXIST Appearance Package on the order sheet. I guess they're standard equipment, then?

I wonder if any WRX owners buy that badge thinking it's burnout tire marks.

Panamera is on there too, so weird-

LOL, the color choices are OK but not the combinations. I'm a silver/black guy so I am happy and the darker blue/black is nice too.

Of those silly ownership badges? Want to get one for me (gift)? Or wait, can you order more than one?

The limit for ownership badges per vin is 4, and the max lifestyle badge number I can get is 5.

What were you looking for?
