2015 Subaru Outback

My CX9 was faster but the times I got on it was few and far between. What you have with the 2.5 is a fairly large car with all weather capability and some decent efficiency. I will be surprised if I hit 33 mpg with it but we will see.

As far as the bike thing you can probably get a bike in the back but that's always a PIA. If you get a hitch on it a hitch rack is easier for most people.

The HID headlights should just come with the limited, stupid that they don't.

You can probably get a DIY kit for fairly cheap, or mount some aux. lamps on the bumper.

Putting HID bulbs in a reflector housing is awful. But the hard part is retrofitting projectors into a car that has reflector housings. The new outback already has projectors. Just a matter of replacing the bulbs with HID bulbs and ballasts.

The one I got came in a bit under $32k. Not sure what else out there offers more for the money?

I do think the 3.6L adds a lot of cost and doesn't look as good money-wise.

That "warm ivory" leather is pretty pale, isn't it? In the brochures it looks like an inviting hue of brown. In real, non-HDR'd pictures it looks bland and gray like 1990-era Macs. It's too bad that most of the interesting exterior paint colors only come with it.

The color choices suck for the Outback. Maybe that's the big ding against them.
