I'm not a big fan of M3s anymore. Driving dynamics are great but the car as a whole isn't as exciting to me. I love the ATS styling compared to the Bimmers.

The Chrome strip around the grille should be black chrome.  It's too bright and blingy.

Cadillac designs are pretty bland, hence the often times tacky chrome accents.

Not a fan of chrome wheels, but otherwise it looks really good IMHO. Generally speaking I prefer these "real life" shots to the overdone initial press release photo(shop)s.

edit: PS, love the color, not surprisingly.  :praise:

Still slab sided and boring para mi. What engine does this have? Supercharged V6? Twin turbo V6? Twincharged 4? Still LOLing at a performance Caddy with no V8.

Looks great aside from the chrome wheels.  Why does GM still slap chrome on everything?  I'll never understand that.

Once again, in case you missed it: 450 horsepower from a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6, rear-wheel drive, six-speed manual or eight-speed paddle shift auto.

Hahah, yeah that lame Cadillac with their lame 450HP V6. They r stoopid.

Why? M3 and S4 don't have one anymore...

The wheels look polished or maybe Black Chrome! They're def not the shiny chrome that they usually use! And there are wheel finish choices on the Caddy website!

I like that attitude. Hopefully the car backs it up.

GoCougs

I think it's realistic. Just look to the C7 Z51 and Z06 and Camaro ZL1 and Z28. Sure, ze Germans have "better" cars but you gotta pay about double and then you're probably gonna be saddled with a turbo and/or a flappy paddle box. The new Camaro will only add to the mix.

Just saw that pic. Lol. What kind of WWE "Do you smell-la-la-la-la-la-laaahhhhh....what the Rock... is cooking *eyebrow*" promo is this. I had a suspicion these guys spent too much time listening to internet brand managers and this confirms it. Germans dont care what is being said on the internet, they are too busy interfacing with customers.

And when that M2 drops?????? That little ditty??????

The E63, RS7, M5, and to a lesser extent the M3/M4 and new C63, have explicitly demonstrated that ze Germans aren't really listening to its (enthusiast) customers and that ze Germans are mostly just interested in cocooned spec-bait dreadnaughts.

"Enthusiasts" and actual paying new car customers are not necessarily overlapping groups.

If they were, the ATS/CTS wouldnt be sales failures ;)

Imagine how big of a fail Chrysler's LX cars would be with a pansy V6TT in place of the Hemi. Caddy is delusional to think it can play the German way.

The M5 is definitely a cocooned dreadnought but has been so since the E60.

The M3 in my opinion was actually a step towards a more fun car for this latest generation. I prefer it over the E90. It's more fun.

Ummmm...the ATS-V has TWO turbos and most will be sold with the 8 speed flappy paddle gearbox.  The CTS-V is available ONLY with an 8 speed auto flappy paddle gearbox. The M5 on the other hand gives you the choice of paddles or a manual.
