Time for a new car, sadly, they all kinda suck.

Name some cars you would buy if not for the infotainment thing

I.e. would you ever consider a 335xi?

You should also know, there are companies that make custom fit dual din stereos with screen mirroring for iPhones/Androids. I will probably be going that route with the next ride, bypassing that whole infotainment issue altogether.

So did you guys miss the whole thing about needing to be AWD

Dodge RWD cars are far far too big - would never own.

AWD is as pointless as changing transmission fluid.

You don't need it.

I'd only ever think about buying a turbo car from a Japanese automaker (an not incuriously, they pretty much don't make any), and then it'd be a long shot.

The only car I can think of is the new Infiniti Q50S AWD. Versus the G it's far more refined and the AT response issue has been fixed.

Why so much jibber-jabber re: the Golf?

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.
