Unicorns

What is your automotive unicorn?  That car that you would buy if you could find it.  The one that very very few were made and sold in the US or Canada.  Colour, body style, engine and transmission, and/or even seat options.  What is your unicorn and describe it.

Great thread. Shit, I'll have to think about this one. The CTS-V you described certainly comes to mind.

Raza can't afford that, but Dave could.

Not exactly a Unicorn, but I have always considered an '05/06 Lincoln LS with the 3.9 Jaguar V8 as being very desirable.  If I could find one with low mileage and fully optioned, black of course, I'd be sorely tempted.

Not really a unicorn, but nice cars. The downside for me is interior design is pretty bland with crappy plastic.

Still, it would be an upgrade from what I'm used to.

I actually owned a unicorn.  Well, a unicorn in America, anyway.

My Peugeot 405 was one of the very few 405 wagons sold in America.  Mine was also the only manual transmission equipped 405 wagon I've ever seen on this side of the Atlantic.  There can't have been very many of those sold on these shores.

Definitely.  They're, supposedly, going to be available here, in the US as well, in a couple of years.  In the meantime, I'd be happy with a Focus ST.

Check these out. At today's exchange rate, they're about 20K:

Some guy @ Jalopnik got one federalised and was spewing nonsense about only 4 having been sold in Mexico. As you can clearly see, that's utter bullshit. There are many available.

That's a good deal.  A new Focus ST entry level here is over $30,000Cdn.

Had one of these (NX2000) a long time ago. Loved it.

Why are the NX and Corrado unicorns?  They were pretty common.
