:(

Maybe once cost and emissions force newer cars to get acceptably light and simple, I can get back into them. F8x is a step in the right direction. But barring oddballs like the 1M I dont think Ive liked an M car since maybe the E46/E89 :mask: I think I'm still bitter they didn't send off natural aspiration with a huge old school size I6 like they used to do.

The F30 M3/M4 are the best M cars ever IMO, at least for track duty. I literally had zero nostalgia for my cars or other Ms I've driven when I tested them.

At street speeds I can understand the E46 has things going for it, though.

There's always a few on Ebay! I've seen a couple nice ones in the 6-8K range.

Oh yeah, and a Porsche Cayman GT4.

I like having my Explorer, the 944, and a rotating interesting project. I don't think I want so many cars that I can't really get to know any of them. At this point I think I would have a hard time selling either of my cars, even as tempting as something like a Boxster or S2000 or a newer Explorer or XTerra might be. Maybe someday.

Yea, getting a car setup just how you like is pretty fun. I enjoy the prospect of building something unique and to my tastes rather than just buying something expensive.

You'd have to custom build that yourself.

As far as cars I think are cool, that's a fairly ridiculous list... Mostly older Europeans.

I've been thinking that like an old Datsun pickup would be a cool project.
