you have got to be joking

And that's how I know I've won.

Hey man, if you want to run wheels that are 3lb/corner heavier to save $15 bux a wheel, be my guest. I couldn't care less. I'll just stick to my wheels that weigh less for wider sizes than whatever TRM offers.

Or order from fortune auto and when lyft rider asks why your car feels bumpy you can show them the dyno curve

Stock car steelies. Only weigh 20-30lbs each, and easy to fix after bending

I was thinking about adding them to the list.

FlatBlackCaddy

So I did some math and figured that the Konig will stick out about an half inch more than the 6ul(which itself will stick out 1 inch more than stock).

I was concerned that the 6ul wouldn't move the wheel out too much considering it's stockish offset compared to the 25mm offset of the konig. I'm going to measure the car when I get home to see how that will look. I really don't like the sunk in look that the stock wheels have, especially with the lower effect package the 10AE has.

If it looks good, I'll probably go with the 6ul in either Nickel or Tungsten with 225/45 RS3's.

I like the Konig pic... Would need another angle though to tell how hella flush it is

BTW 225s on a 9" wheel is going to have a serious sidewall stretch

That's a very common combo on miatas though.

I don't think commonality effects streeeeeeeeeetch

Maybe something with a chunky sidewall like the Michelin PSS's could cover most of it up though.

15x8 with 225 would be purty.

These are all 15x8's.

I had 15x9's with 225 RS3's on my last miata and it looked fine. I wouldn't call it hella stretched.

r0tor

225s on 8's are great

I want 15x8s for Axent now. Even though 15x7s with summer 205s are way more tire than needed.

Went with some 15x9" 6ul's in Tungsten, a suspension kit from FM(Vmax xxtreme with sway bars). I was pretty happy with my last setup(Vmax classics) on my 01. I was eying the ohlins but that's a bit more than I wanted to spend at the moment since this past couple of weeks has seen a lot of money go towards my automotive addiction.

68_427

My friend is going with 15x9 6ULs as well with Xidas.

I guess I can do that, really wanted to finish the full detail and get different rims on it(I really don't like the chrome ones). I'll snap a few of it in the garage on the lift and throw them in here, but a proper thread will have to wait a week or so until I get it done. I really should get moving on this, I would have liked a week or two between the two intro threads but it looks like I might end up with one right after another.

Cookie Monster

Hey FBC can I hijack your thread to make some decisions for my own MIATA RIMS?

Just backed it out, finished with the first stage buff and going to wash it and then do interior and exterior polish and wax.

That thing is going to look so nice with the tungsten 6ULs.  Get rid of the body kit and I'd be jelly.

Ive been kicking around pulling off the side skirts and rear little flairs, I've tried to look around online and see if there are any holes if I did pull them off.

Rich

It might be good to have some holes down there.  Maybe you can check to see if there's rust or get some rust inhibitor up in there

I looked under the car when it was up on the lift. It's absolutely spotless.

Looks like there's room for a second supercharger under the hood.
